Affili8 Partner Program – Terms and Conditions
The Affili8 Partner Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the IT8 Essential Business IT Services Affili8 Partner Program (“Program”).
By registering for or participating in the Program, you (“Affili8 Partner”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Program Overview
The Program allows Affili8 Partners to refer new business clients to IT8 Essential Business IT Services (“IT8”) and receive a financial reward where the referral results in eligible paid services, subject to these Terms.
Participation in the Program does not require the Affili8 Partner to be an existing IT8 client.
2. Registration and Acceptance
2.1 Registration in the Program must be completed through IT8’s official referral process or portal.
2.2 All registrations and referrals are subject to review and approval by IT8 at its sole discretion.
2.3 IT8 reserves the right to reject or revoke participation if registration information is inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete.
3. Referral Submission and Validity
3.1 Referrals must be submitted via the official IT8 referral process to be valid.
3.2 The date the referral is submitted and accepted is deemed the official referral date.
3.3 Referrals cannot be backdated or retrospectively applied if not formally submitted and approved.
3.4 Only one Affili8 Partner may be associated with each referred business.
4. Referral Reward Period
4.1 The referral reward period is 30 days commencing from the official referral date (“Referral Period”).
4.2 Only invoices issued and paid in full during the Referral Period are eligible for Program rewards.
5. Reward for the Referred Business
5.1 The referred business is eligible to receive a 20% discount on IT8 labour and service charges invoiced during the Referral Period.
5.2 The discount:
- Applies only to IT8 labour and services
- Does not apply to hardware, software licensing, third‑party products, or non‑service items
5.3 Discounts cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, or special pricing arrangements.
6. Reward for the Affili8 Partner
6.1 The Affili8 Partner is eligible to receive a 20% cash bonus calculated on the referred business’s total eligible labour and service invoice value issued during the Referral Period.
6.2 The cash bonus is calculated on the full invoice amount before any discount is applied.
6.3 The cash bonus:
- Applies only to labour and service charges
- Excludes hardware, licensing, and third‑party products
6.4 No cash bonus is payable unless the relevant invoice has been paid in full by the referred business.
7. Example (Illustration Only)
If a referred business receives a qualifying labour or service invoice for $1,000:
- The referred business receives a 20% discount ($200) and pays $800
- The Affili8 Partner receives a 20% cash bonus calculated on $1,000, equal to $200
This applies to all eligible labour or service invoices issued and paid during the Referral Period.
8. Payment of Cash Bonuses
8.1 Cash bonuses are calculated after cleared payment is received from the referred business.
8.2 Payments will be made via electronic funds transfer within 14 days of payment being confirmed.
8.3 No cash bonus is payable on cancelled, refunded, disputed, or unpaid invoices.
9. Tax, GST and ABN Requirements
9.1 Cash bonuses constitute taxable income.
9.2 Affili8 Partners are responsible for their own tax obligations.
9.3 A valid Australian Business Number (ABN) must be provided prior to payment.
9.4 Where the Affili8 Partner is registered for GST:
- The cash bonus is paid exclusive of GST
- A valid tax invoice must be provided
9.5 Where an ABN is not supplied, IT8 may withhold tax as required under Australian taxation law.
10. Independent Contractor Relationship
10.1 Affili8 Partners participate as independent contractors.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship.
10.3 Affili8 Partners must not:
- Represent themselves as agents or employees of IT8
- Enter into agreements on behalf of IT8
- Make representations or guarantees about IT8 services beyond publicly available information
11. Privacy and Consent
11.1 Affili8 Partners must obtain consent before submitting referral details to IT8.
11.2 IT8 will handle personal and business information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
12. Misuse and Fraud
12.1 IT8 may suspend or terminate participation in the Program if misuse, abuse, misleading conduct, or fraudulent activity is identified.
12.2 Any referral discounts or rewards associated with such conduct may be cancelled at IT8’s discretion.
13. Program Changes and Termination
13.1 IT8 may modify or withdraw the Program at any time.
13.2 Any changes will not affect rewards already earned prior to the effective date of the change.
13.3 Continued participation in the Program following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
14.2 The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
